Scissor Iris Curved Sharp 10cm, Quantity 1 (Non Sterile)

A non-sterile, sharp curved tip scissor in 10cm length for ophthalmic, facial and other delicate surgical procedures.

With two bevelled edge blade, pivoted centrally for extremely precise cutting.

The blades are closed and material cut by closing the handles.

In cutting tissue the preferred technique is to hold the blades in a firmly half-closed position and to push the instrument along the grain of the tissues.

Iris scissors are small scissors originally designed for the fine detail work of ophthalmic surgery.

They may also have uses in other contexts, such as crafts.
