Specifically used in cutting the delicate tissue in narrow areas during minor surgery, Tenotomy scissors have small sharp blades paired with long handles, to aid medical professionals with a confident grip whilst cutting. 

Tenotomy scissors have handles with small, sharp or blunt blades with variable tip styles. The long handles allow the surgeon to have an adequate grip and control while dissecting or cutting in small or narrow areas.

Stevens tenotomy scissors are available straight or curved and with sharp or blunt tips, in order to accommodate different procedures.

Sharp tips allow precise dissection and cutting of delicate tissue, while blunt tipped blades are used more often for dissecting and cutting mucus membranes.
